Honda Valet Key Wont Open Door

Honda valet key wont open door. Other key with fob also could not open with key inserted in lock. I took off the door panel and can see that turning the key is moving a cylinder sticking out of the back of. The valet key works only in the ignition and the door locks. Try turning it upside.

Just click it back in place. After calling dealer for appointment to fix it i checked. We have the valet key but it won t open the driver door. It fits and it turns but doesn t unlock.

Amazon has them 50. Might need a sawzall to do this job depending how stuck your latch. My mom locked my keys in my trunk. The key fob works perfectly and the key works the ignition perfectly.
